Reston's dining options around Town Center have expanded sharply in 2026, with five restaurants opening within a half-mile stretch and at least three more concepts on the way.

The newest is Clarity. Owner Viswa Vasireddy, who opened the original Vienna location in 2015, launched the Reston outpost this summer at 1996 Opportunity Way in RTC Next, the southward expansion of Reston Town Center near Sunset Hills Road and Town Center Parkway. The 4,500-square-foot space seats 175 indoors and 40 on a patio, with three private dining rooms and a dedicated lunch menu alongside dinner service featuring French onion soup, five-spice short ribs and a smoked wagyu cheeseburger. Northern Virginia Magazine named Clarity one of its 50 Best Restaurants of 2025.

Clarity joins a cluster that has filled in quickly. Noku Sushi, which has an established location in the Village of Leesburg, opened at 1800 Reston Row Plaza in February with poke bowls, katsu, ramen and Korean barbecue. Toastique, the gourmet toast-and-juice bar, opened March 7 at 11900 Inspiration Street under the new Skymark Apartments, serving cold-pressed juices, wellness shots and breakfast toasts from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

Nearby at Plaza America off Sunset Hills Road, Wonder Food Hall opened in October 2025, bringing more than 25 rotating restaurant concepts under one kitchen. The hall, founded by former Walmart e-commerce CEO Marc Lore, uses an all-electric cooking platform to serve menus ranging from José Andrés' Spanish concept Jota to Tejas Barbecue and Limesalt's Mexican dishes.

"Everything from a high-end Bobby Flay steak to José Andrés to burgers, barbecue, Chinese, Thai, Middle Eastern, Mexican pizza, fried chicken — all in the same kitchen with no open flames or gas," Lore said in a July 8 interview with FFXnow about Wonder's Northern Virginia expansion. The company now operates 19 locations, including eight in Virginia.

Still to come: Grazie Nonna, a red-sauce Italian-American restaurant, is headed to Opportunity Way in RTC Next with eggplant parmigiana, calamari and pizza, though no opening date has been confirmed. A sister deli concept, Grazie Grazie, will open next door. Yunnan by Potomac Noodle House, known for its all-you-can-eat "Chef's Endless Table" format, is also planned for the area, according to Viva Reston.

The openings span two adjacent developments. RTC Next includes the AC Hotel, Skymark Apartments and new retail along Opportunity Way and Inspiration Street. Reston Row, the 1.6-million-square-foot second phase of Comstock's Reston Station near the Wiehle-Reston East Metro station, includes the JW Marriott Hotel and Residences that opened in September 2025.

Clarity's full dinner and happy-hour menus are available at 1996 Opportunity Way; Grazie Nonna's opening date has not been announced.
