Fairfax Connector bus routes serving Reston will run on Saturday schedules Monday, Oct. 12, for the Columbus Day and Indigenous Peoples Day holiday.

All five Reston Internal Bus Service (RIBS) routes and several cross-county lines connecting Reston to Metro stations, Tysons and Dulles Airport will operate, but on reduced Saturday timing, according to a Fairfax Connector holiday notice. Fairfax Connector announced the change on X on Oct. 5.

Several Reston-area routes will not run at all. Riders who depend on Route 598 (Reston South–Pentagon–Crystal City Express), Route 951 (Wiehle-Reston East–Innovation Center), Route 557 (Reston South–Soapstone), Route 553 (Kingstream–Herndon–Fox Mill) or Route 507 (Sunset Hills–Sunrise Valley) will need to find other options for the day.
