Lake Anne Plaza will host a free cultural festival with more than 70 vendors on Sunday, Oct. 25, according to organizer Arabian Mosaic LLC.

Arabian Nights 2026 will run from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the plaza, 1609 Washington Plaza N. The event will turn the waterfront into a souk-style marketplace, according to Patch, with vendors selling international foods, sweets, clothing, perfumes, spices, herbs, jewelry, crafts, home decor and gifts.

Organizers said the festival celebrates Arab culture while drawing vendors from a range of cultural backgrounds. The marketplace is modeled after a traditional souk, the open-air markets common across the Middle East and North Africa.

Admission is free. Parking is free, too.

One note for residents planning their weekend: Patch listed the date as Oct. 25 but noted it was pending confirmation from organizers. A separate listing in TysonsToday showed Oct. 11 in its event box while its article text said Oct. 25. Residents should confirm the date with the organizer at 703-344-5689 or at arabianmosaic.com.

Entertainment and kids' activities

Live music, a DJ and a fashion show are scheduled throughout the day. Children's activities include a bounce attraction, balloon activities, henna and face painting.

The event runs rain or shine, according to the Arabian Mosaic website.

Arabian Mosaic at Lake Anne

Arabian Mosaic LLC already has a regular presence at the plaza, running weekly Saturday markets from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. with international food, crafts, clothing and jewelry. The Sunday festival is a larger, daylong expansion of that programming.

The organization describes its mission as bringing people together through markets and festivals that celebrate Arab culture across Northern Virginia.

Residents with questions can reach the organizers at 703-344-5689.
